I think that Nadar’s reason for running for president again is terrible. I think that a person should run because they think that they can make our country a better place, not because they think that the election was unfair the last time they ran. I also feel like Nadar had his chance and should except that. However, I feel that making negative comments about another candidate is unnecessary and not very professional at all.

Ok so, i think Nadar has every right to feel like he can run for president and feel that his beliefs are strong enough to run our country. On the other hand, I agree very strongly with Teagans comment when she said that he may just be out for revenge for his misfortunate run in 04′. I would be frusterated too if i was denied ballots or anything that i knew i was free to do. Regarding Hilary Clinton’s comment; I do think it was little harsh and unprofessional but thats just how politics roll. They are all like that. Obama was a little bit more understanding of Nadar’s position and i migt agree with his comment. He was professional and felt Nadar was doing what he believed, but is it really for the best?

i don’t think nadar is running out of spite entirely, i think he thinks he ahs the right ideas to lead the country into greatness and he wants to get elected, and i don’t think its right for anyone to say he cna’t run becuase it hurts the major party’s. that defeats the entire purpouse of a democracy

I don’t necessarily think Nader’s motivation for running is completely selfless. While his main motive and pretense for re-running are claims on health insurance, law reform, and the war in Iraq, he never actually substantiates his claims that major candidates have lost sights of these issues. One could infer that perhaps his candidacy in this election may be spiteful as well. The large majority of the voters he appeals to, are democratic otherwise in nature. Because there is almost no chance of Nader actually winning the election, it’s frusterating the democrat candidates who suffer the loss of votes that could be crucial to their success. I believe the words Clinton and Obama spoke weren’t malicious or a remark of Nader’s characters, simply words spoken out of agitation.

I can’t appreciate the comments from Hilary and Obama. I don’t believe that it is possible to “take votes away.” People vote for who they want to vote for, and Nadar has as much right to run for presidency than the major candidates. The fact that they are even worried at all about how many votes he is “pulling away” from them just goes to show that he is a valid and deserving candidate. On the other hand i do find some comedy in Nadar’s appearance in this election because of his several previous failures, and i do believe that if he was turned down several times before that he is wasting his time, however he is not wasting votes. Also, i sincerely doubt he is running for “revenge” or “spite/anger” he seems to have faith in his chances of winning (which are slim to none.)

I feel that Nader is runing again out of anger from the outcome of the previous election. His reasons for running seem motivated, but unclear. Also i think the reaction of Obama and Clinton are really unnecessary. There acting as if Nader is a big threat to them and putting him down when have no reason to, and it might be that they’re just confused of why he would make such a bold risk and run again.

I feel that Nader is just retaliating in defense of the unfortunate outcome of the previous election. he feels that he is somehow the victim in the situation and deserves to break even in this race. I believe that since he did not make it evident that he was still heavily concerned with the economy and people that his intentions are highly unmotivated towards the better good of people. Of course he has the right just like every citzen to run and state his objectives, but if it is for personal satisfaction in no mean sis it neccessary to take a stand and cause a controversy. I believe that Hilary and Obama just felt irratated with the whole situation and do not neccessarily have anything against Nader.

Nader’s motives are unclear. He’s giving himself a bad name by running again because he seemed like an activist before and now he just seems like he wants to take votes away. I would vote for Nader if I knew he had a chance at winning, but the fact is, he doesn’t. I know it, he knows it. Clinton and Obama have no right to put Nader down, it makes them both look stupid. I can understand why they would be mad, but they shouldn’t put him down, but politics have no backbone.

Nader’s run in the election may seem somewhat confusing, but i believe he just wants a chance to prove that he really can be a great candidate for president. I think in the election before he wasnt given enough chance to show how worthy he was to run, and he feels like this is his second chance persay. while this may be good for him, it isnt good for clinton and obama because votes that they should get from their supporters may now go to Nader, and they dont want that because when youre in a race to win something, you dont want anything standing in your way. which in turn explains the comments they’ve made. it is preventing them from getting their job done and i think if this was important enough to Nader he should have been there since the very beginning instead of coming in later. this isnt fair to the people who have worked their butts off in this election to have their votes taken away by one person who practically doesnt deserve them. so i think that the comments made by them were very just and they do make a lot of sense, and i can definately agree with what they have said.
